These are the animals that I’ve encountered during my trip in Palawan last December 2008. Hope you’ll enjoy the story… 🙂
the usual Karabaos are found in the mountains… sometimes seen on lazy afternoons munching on fresh green grass
but as for this Karabao… works on the beach with a cart of full of Tourists on his back. “Wish I was a boat..” -Kabaw
well… working is not that as bad compared to just being tied up… all day. just as with this monkey, nothing to do but snobs at people who tries to take a picture of him. “hmp!”
oh there’s actually an untied “a meter big” Lizard! roaming around here. monkeys are tied up(?) but as for this one…(?) could it be that this is harmless!?
now here’s for sure that are trully harmless… beautiful geese roaming around that you can get close with or you could find them relaxing on the grass under a shady tree next to your bench where you’re seated at (true story) 🙂
speaking of harmless and beautiful creatures… now this is what I’m talking about that you could completely bring back home with you. an army of turtles~! 😀
hmm what about a squad of baby crocodiles/alligators? but unfortunately the Philippine law prohibits petting of endangered and wild animals… 😦 …no matter how cute they are :p
“ohh…what about this Mom? can I bring this home with me?” -Child 😀
“ohh… pretty pretty please….!!” -Child (^___^)
“but my child my child… as a child as you are.. there’s no better place than home with your mother right? so same goes with these butterflies… there’s no better place for them than being on top of a flower” -Mother 🙂
“hope that I was able to express it well on how wonderful a journey could be here at Animal Kingdon in paradise! that is all glory and thanks to our Creator who made us… for we are all beautifully and wonderfully made. i hope that you could come and visit us yourself and bring the whole family and friends! hope to see you all soon..!” *winks* -the Owl
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
